Introductory Paragraph - IR Book/Quote

Abraham Lincoln once said nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. I think this means that you will only know someone’s real intentions or desires whenever they have power. Yes I do agree with this because I believe power changes people if someone turns rich will they still be humble and help there neighbors? For example in the book I am reading Game Changers the quarter back in the football team is really cocky he doesn’t get along with other players because of his attitude. This players over powering attitude really affects the rest of the team ,it makes them feel less important, they are angry the way he rages when they have a bad play, and they don’t like him as the team leader

The book I chose was game changers by mike Lupica. i got this book because it seems really interesting when I saw the front cover. I think it going to be about problem's in high school foot ball.my theme was power and there is power involved in football

Alexander maria alfredo was living in times square new York in September 11 2001 about to hit the gym he had just took his pre workout and was sprinting towards the gym when he saw a airplane crash into the world trading center right before his eyes . he just stood there seeing the hideous view he saw bursts of flames coming through the tower he did not know what to think of it ….was it an accident? Was it planed? He did not know. He just stood there with many others all of them knew the gravity of the situation when they saw the horror of people jumping through the windows of the top floors right to the bottom as they splattered .his stomach could not Handel having to watch this sight he was about to leave but as he turned around he saw another plane crash into the other tower. He felt a loud rumble he didn’t know what it was. He saw many people run away from the buildings so he tried to run also but it was to late. Next thing he knew he was trapped under many scraps of metal and couldn’t move. He thought he was going to die for sure .when he was about to give up all hope he heard some voices which sounded like a rescue team. He screamed as loud as he could and to his relief thy heard him and started to remove metal from above him .the first thing he saw was a eagle in the sky .know eagles represent hope and is very meaningful to him.
